What is Keeper Wars?

• Keeper Wars is a 1v1 tournament specific to goalkeepers
• Each keeper plays in one half of the field defending their goal while trying to score past the opposing goalkeeper
• Keeper Wars is enjoyable for goalkeepers of all ages
• Games are short but very intense; a goalkeeper will face more shots in a game of keeper wars than a typical match
• U9-U16 (email the team if your U8 and below)

The Venue

Loughborough University is a great central location with world-class sporting facilities.

It is the hub for sport in the UK, with many sports governing bodies choosing to base themselves at the East Midlands campus.

The surface will be 3G rubber crumb so it is essential to bring the appropriate footwear and long bottoms or base-layer garments are advisable.

The pitches are a two-minute walk from the Students’Union which has a Starbucks, restaurant, bar, shop and café.

Sells Pro Training today announced the very exciting expansion into North America.

The new operation will be based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and headed up by Bob Jeffrey.

Bob is a UEFA ‘A’ Licensed coach, UEFA ‘A’goalkeeping coach and has many years’ experience coaching at all levels from grass roots to international football in Wales.

All USA or Canadian based franchises will sign up through the US office and be supported by the locally based staff. The franchisees will still have access to the UK based team and receive all the same benefits as UK franchises.

The first centre will be in Milwaukee and will begin its weekly classes on the 29th March 2019. Summer camps will start on July 29th.

We’ve have a new franchise partner joining the team at Sells Pro Training!

We would like to welcome Alex Connon and look forward to taking his development of goalkeepers to #ANOTHERLEVEL

Alex is a vastly experienced and a UEFA ‘A’ licensed GK Coach and has been a professional for 20 years.

Currently working with the goalkeepers at Ross County FC (SPFL), Alex is also part of the Scottish Football Association Youth set up and an acts as a tutor for aspiring coaches.

Alex will be operating centres in Edinburgh and is now preparing his first venues and getting the first goalkeepers through the door.

It’s an exciting time to get involved and we are looking forward to Alex getting his new locations up and running.
